Mugger breaks elderly woman’s elbow in Queens: cops
A group of muggers shoved a teen girl to the ground and attempted to wrestle away her handbag before grabbing a teen boy’s cell phone in Manhattan, new video shows.
The 16-year-old victims were on West 43rd Street near Eighth Avenue around 9 p.m. Friday when the group approached, looking to sell them marijuana, cops said late Wednesday.
Then one of the suspects pushed the girl to the ground and pulled at her bag, dragging her around on the sidewalk, surveillance video shows.
Another suspect kicked the teen, but she refused to give up her bag, police said.
So the crew turned their attention to the boy and swiped his cell phone from his jacket pocket, before fleeing west on 43rd Street toward 9th Avenue, cops said.
The muggers were still on the loose early Thursday.
The relationship between the teen victims was unclear.
