Mattel is teaming up with rapper, Lil Yachty, to make an action movie about the card game UNO, the company said on Thursday.
It’s not clear how the 50 year-old game will be featured in the film, but Mattel describes it as a comedy, heist set in the underground, hip hop world in Atlanta.
“I’m so excited to be part of this film with Mattel,” Yachty, who will be the co-producer of the movie, said in a statement. “I played UNO as a kid and still do today, so to spin that into a movie based on the Atlanta hip hop scene I came out of is really special. It hits close to home for me.”
Yachty may also star in the movie, according to Variety.
Mattel Films, which has made movies about Barbie, Barney and Hot Wheels, will produce the movie with Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “P” Thomas and Brian Sher for Quality Films.
UNO was created in a barbershop in Cincinnati, Ohio as a way for families to spend time together, Mattel said.
