It’s been almost a year and a half, but Hache is finally coming back. This week marks the premiere of Netflix’s Spanish-language drama all about heroin, betrayal, prostitution, and too-complicated love. Wondering when Hache Season 2 will premiere on Netflix? We have your back.

From Verónica Fernández comes this drama. Helena starts this series with one goal in mind: to free her partner from jail. In her quest to right this perceived wrong she’ll sell her body, cozy up to some of the worst drug lords imaginable, and burn the entire system down. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Hache Season 2.

When Will Hache Season 2 Be on Netflix?

Netflix’s heroin saga is back for round two this week. Season 2 of the Spanish drama Hache premieres on the streaming giant this Friday, February 5.

What Time Will Hache Season 2 Be on Netflix?

That all depends where you are in the world. If you’re on the West Coast, great. You’re looking at a somewhat reasonable release time of midnight on February 5. But if you’re on the East Coast you’re a bit less lucky. Hache Season 2 premieres there at 3 a.m. ET.

How Did Hache Season 1 End? Is There a Hache Recap?

If you need a refresher, this drama revolves around Helena (Adriana Ugarte), also known as the titular Hache. At the beginning of the series Helena was determined to free her partner from jail by any means necessary. That’s how she became a prostitute for a drug lord of one of the biggest heroin cartels in 1960s Barcelona.

In Season 1’s last episode the nefarious drug lord Malpica (Javier Rey) finally learned about Bruno, Helena’s prison-bound love. By this point in the series Helena had essentially left Bruno for Malpica. But Malpica didn’t do well with half-hearted devotion. In a move that proved he was indisputably the possessive bad guy, Malpica has Bruno murdered.

Naturally, Hache/Helena doesn’t take this betrayal well. After orchestrating an elaborate plan, she shot the drug lord. That left Helena with her ally Arístides (Marc Martínez), her friend Celeste (Marc Martínez), her daughter, and a whole lot of heroin. That’s right; Hache is the new drug lord of this twisted world. And if she’s proven anything it’s that she can be just as cutthroat as it takes to get what she wants.
